YouTube Plans to Launch In-App Feature to Compete With TikTok: The Information reports that YouTube could be launching a short-form video-sharing feature by the end of the year. Called Shorts, this possible new YouTube feature will reportedly be accessible inside the YouTube mobile app and will showcase a content feed with a look and feel similar to TikTok.

Facebook Expands Measures to Assist Small Businesses Affected by Shutdowns: Facebook is rolling out new features to assist businesses in dealing with the impact of the COVID-19 shutdowns. These include committing $100 million to a global small business grant program, a digital gift card program for local businesses and restaurants, an expansion of its personal fundraiser program to include small businesses, and an easier way to communicate temporary changes in service to customers.
